hi all,
very general question about key figure aggregation. how can i set aggregation of kf not to sum but get average of the values?
its always in display mode in query designer and cannot change aggregation tab.
thanks
Hi,
The tab named aggregation in query designer is for the 'exception aggregation' setting. I think what you are looking to do, you should check the 'Calculations' tab for the KF.

Hi John,
This may not be a good solution, but it can solve your issue.
create a formula and include your keyfig in this formula and here you can set exception aggregation as avg of all values and also specify refer characterisitc.
Now hide your keyfig in your query.
Hope it is helpfull.
Thanks

Hi john mcquade,
You can change the setting in KF properties in RSA1 transaction code. In RSA1, change the KF, select the aggregation tab and change the setting for "exception aggregat" as average and select the reference char.
OR
You can change the setting in the query designer by selecting the properties of the KF, and change the setting of "Calculate singel values as" to Average.
I hope you can solve your issues now.

S P.
