In the fieldcatalog you will have to use fieldcat-sum = 'X' on the column you want to have the sum. Remember to specify currency and units for currency and weight fields respectively before doing sum.

But MY question is

HOW TO MAKE TOTAL AND SUBTOTAL TEXT IN ALV
