Error: Only 0 EA xxxxx Material Available

Hi,

Scenario: There are 2 diff. sales orders and 2 closed Ind.pur.orders with same material but the Batches are different. While delivering second sales order they used 1st orders batch and and they completed the process. They are trying to deliver the 1st order with 2nd orders batch, the system is giving the error message as

1.Only 0 EA xxx Material available.

2. An item with no delivery quantity is not permittred. Item will be deleted.

- When i check the stock in MMBE, stock is alloted for that sales ofrder with the same batch number.

- In MD04 also stock is there for that material.

- When i check the availability in the sales order its showing 0 for issues, receipts and cum.ATP quantity.

Please pull me from this............!!!!!

Dear ravi

For the error Only 0 EA xxx Material available, one can come to a firm conclusion that stock is not available. But you have indicated that stock is available. So check in sale order, under schedule line tab, whether the stock is flowing in "confirmed quantity" and if so, on what date it is confirmed. You will be able to make delivery only on that day.

only 0 EA of material is available this error comes only if there is no stock of material of Batch you selected in VL01N,

Try changing batch.

Hi

Then CO09 (Availability Overview) also should show zero quantities. Since there are no stocks in the pla nt, this could be the reason for your problem. Please post some stock into the plant and try to create the delivery.

Hi Ravi,

In Co09 there is no stock for that Batch. In MMBE tehre is no stock opposite to that plant. But below the plant we have a Sales order fieid- there the stock is available.

MMBE Viwe:

Co.Code: 0 Stock

Plant : 0 stock

Storage Loc: 0 Stock

Batch : 0 stock

Sales order : 40 Stock available( Actual Order qty is also 40 of that sales oredr)

Please observe the Delivery quantity determined in the Delivery Document. Onceagain try to create the delivery and observe the quantity and post if it is not Zero.

Its not allowing me to enter into the delivery screen.

I entered Selection date, shipping point, order number on the delivery screen then i pressed Enter- immediately its giving the error.

Hi Ravi.

When i put the delivery date as confirmed scheduline date the has to allow to crate delivery. Right. But it is not allowing with that date.

When i checked availability in sales order it is showing Receipts-0, Issues - 0 and confirmed issues - 0.

But in MMBE and MD04 the stock is alloted to that order.

Hi

The error -' An item with no delivery quantity is not permittred. Item will be deleted' is because you are trying to create delivery with respect to a schedule line with zero confirmed quantity.

Please observe your order-schedule lines- for the delivery dates and the confirmed quantities.

Normally if the system couldn't confirm any quantity for the requested delivery date, then it creates a schedule line with zero confirmed quantity for that date and extra schedule lines(one or more) based on the availability and scheduling.

Thanks for the reply.

The schedulines are confirming the quantity on 1st July 2008.

The req Delivery date is 5th June 2008.

When i am creating the delivery with selection date 1st July 2008, it is giving the error as :

- Only 0 EA xxxxx Material Available

- An item with no delivery quantity is not permittred. Item will be deleted'
