vanished data in restored db

Hi Friends!

a different issue happened here. In live Db we created some tax codes and took a back up of tht db and restored it to developement db. now we cud'nt find the newly created tax codes in the developement db. all the other features like the password and up-to-date docs are been updated but the tax codes gone disappeared.

facing such issue for first time. do any one have idea over tis?
