Mismatch in report

hi experts,

i have report on 0IC_C03, that report shows difference between quantity of total stock and quality of total stock, based on storage location and grades, but in my report one of the grades showing minus value, but in R/3 there is no data in particular storage location and grade.

what is the problem,

where i can search,

please help to do,

Hi Venkat,

We have also faced this kind of problem where in we have -ve stock in BI end whereas in r/3 there was no such -ve stock,

then when we run report we always have stock greater then what we get in r/3 using tcode mb5b.

Now how to track this:

1. Before checking anywehere check your query any restriction or any calculation mistake ??

2. Check data in Cube, if data is -ve itself then proceed as below:

1. Sit with core user, sometime what happens that user dont take into consideration the stock of some particular plant, storage location or grade, so make sure that thing first of all.

2. Now if everything in BI is as per what user specify's then check how you have taken the data load from r/3, In case of inventory the data is of as of date so it will be much better if the data is not in that large amount take complete data in BI without any restriction. You will get accurate and better result when you will take complete data in consideration.

Check out the calculation or routine, if you have any, for this field. There is something wrong in the calculation.

However, In case there is nothing wrong, in the Bex, make a formula varibale and use ABSOLUTE value. Display this in your report and hide the original field.

Please check the data over cubes,MP and DSO and if evrything matches the r/3 data. then you can go ahead with the option1(creating Absolute value in query).

If differs delete the data over the infoproviders and reload it again and check over currency field as well.Thanks
