FM to read Pre-defiend data type for a data element?

Hi,

I am trying to read the pre-defined data type assigned to the data element...in case no domain is assigned to the data element because in that case I was using FM RPY_DATAELEMENT_READ to get the infomation of the domain assigned to the data element. Please suggest...Thanks in advance!!!!

Hi,

You can get this information from the table DD04L OR use the function module DD_DTEL_GET.
