Permissions for a Unix File System Repository

Former Member

Hello,

I created a Unix file system repository on a portal running on the same Unix server. So, the file system is a mount point on my local host. I configured it to use the AclSecurityManager and the ca_rsrc_acl cache.

However, when I go into KM Content >> Toolbox >> Permissions, there is a grey box next to the folder and the message, "No security manager found for this item."

How do you configure security for the Unix file system repository?

Regards,

John

Hello Sandeep,

Thank you for your assistance. I was able to review the link again and resolve my issue.

The key to resolving the problem is to enable the Repository Service, "properties".

Once that was configured, I was able to assign permissions to the KM folder.

John
