Hi guys
We have an EP (NW04, only Java Stack) on Windows , and we have done Upgrade to NW04s SR3 , including SPS15
We have following Guide "SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Java Support Release 3" and notes related.
The upgrade process was OK, without problems.
But once upgrade was finished we noted:
- Starting Java CI tooks like 30-40 mins starting up-
- We can log in , but it seems there are things missing:
Ok. I have already opened a customer message.
Thanks a lot

If you want I can send you an extract of defaultTrace file.
I think there are a lot of errors... maybe one of them can be related to jdbc driver.. .Could you give an email to send you?
We performed the upgrade without exchanging nothing, it means, using JDBC driver classes12.jar
After finished, in order to trying solve this problem , I have read oss notes regarding problems using this jdbc driver. For this reason, I excchanged this jdbd driver by the other one: ojdbc14.jar, and then we started tool PcdSupportTools, but the results was "no inconsistencies found"
Thanks

I would recommend opening an OSS call and let SAP have a look on the system.
To get an idea about the error without seeing all the other repeatedly I would
- stop the system
- delete all .trc and .log files
- start the system
- repeat the error
Then attach all those to an OSS call.

Right!, I remember error messages at bottom bar regargind to Javascript, ... I think so...
Now I'm outside of working, but I'll try to do your suggestion regarding to clean browser cache
and I'll give you the results.
By the way, you think that JDBC driver "classes12.jar" could be the reason of content missing?
Thanks and regards
Javier

ok

If that would be the case you would see JDBC related errors in the default and/or application trace.. do you see something there?
Did you manually exchange something?

Initial start after upgrade takes a significant amount of time. Are any subsequent startups also that slow? Did you adapt the Java parameters according to note 709140 - Recommended JDK and VM Settings for the WebAS630/640/7.0

we have followed note: 1086644 - Checking database consistency for the
PCD, and we have installed tool in order to check any possible
