Help Link Change in Page Title Bar

Hi All,

Is there a way to change the description of the Help link that shows up in Page Title bar?

We would like to rename this link to "Company Help" from "Help".

I am NOT looking to change the Mast Head Help link.

I am trying to change the Help Link that appears on the Page Title bar Tray. The link that we enable using Show 'Help' option property under "Appearance - Tray" property category of a page.

Hi Mayur,

If you are looking at making changes to anything that has been shipped by SAP you would end up editing the par files.

Go to the location where the par files reside and make changes to the page title bar par file. Im in the process of looking for the same, will update you with which file it has to be done.

Also,in the mean time, if you want to get rid of the help from page title bar then, you would have to go to the default framework in Content Admin-> Portal Content-> Content Provided by SAP->End User Content->Standard Portal Users-> Open Default framework-> Page title bar and there you can set help to NO.

Hi All,

I was able to find the solution to make the required changes for changing the Help link in Page Title bar.

I had to modify the "com.sap.portal.navigation.pagetoolbar.par" file. I downloaded the par file and make the changes to property "PAGE_TOOLBAR_HELP_LABEL" in pagetoolbar_nls.properties file.

Mayur,

For making changes in Masthead area, You can modify the par file com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead to achieve this.

Copy the

com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.par.bak file from

\<local_drive>\usr\sap\<instance>\JC00\j2ee\cluster\ server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\ deployment\pcd to a temporary folder.

Rename the par.bak file to .par file, and import the new par file into your NWDS.

or go to the location "System Administration -> Support -> Portal Runtime -> Browse Deployment" and locate for the par file.

In the jsp files that are downloaded with the par file you got to make changes and you would be good to go.
