How to find Manual profiles in SAP

Hi,

We are doing security upgrade from 4.6c to ECC 6. We need to find manual profile that exist in the older version. Because we need to modify these profiles into Roles. Please let me know the procedure to find the Manual profiles which are not assigned to any role.

Thanks & Regards,

Kankipati

    Hi,

maybe this is what you want:

Start SUIM -> Profiles -> By Profile Name or Profile Text

In additional selection criteria you can use the defaults (Comp. prof., Single prof.) to find the manual

defined profiles. If you check "Generated profiles" you will get the Profiles generated for roles.

    Regards

    Holger

    Hi

if u are looking for profiles of individual user you can go thru SU01 and check in profiles assigned. Note the missing objects in the profiles for the user in the new version and create new profiles and add them accordingly.
