Hi Experts,
I want to create My First Composite Application. I have configured DI according to the document "Installation Cookbook Configure CAF / GP onNWDI 7.00". I have created dependencies for:
BI META MODEL REPOSITORY 7.00
BI UDI 7.00
CAF EU 7.00
DI BUILD TOOL 7.00
SAP CAF 7.00
SAP CAF-KM 7.00
SAP J2EE ENGINE 7.00
SAP JAVA TECH SERVICES 7.00
After updating cms and the configuration in nwds I suddenly have a lots of additional Software Components in my Development Configurations Perspective:
There are
sap.com_BI_MMR_1
sap.com_BI_UDI_1
sap.com_BI_BASE-S_1
sap.com_BI_REPPLAN_1
sap.com_BI-WDALV_1
sap.com_CAF_1
sap.com_CAF-CORE_1
sap.com_CAF-UM_1
sap.com_EC-JSTARTUP_1
sap.com_EP_BUILDT_1
sap.com_EPBC_1
sap.com_EPBC2_1
sap.com_EP-PSERV_1
sap.com_KMC-CM_1
sap.com_LM_TOOLS_1
sap.com_SAP_BUILDT_1
sap.com_SAP_JTECHS_1
sap.com_SAP_PRT_1
sap.com_SAP-EU_1
sap.com__SAP-JEE_1
sap.com_UWLJWF_1
sap.com_WDEXTENSIONS_1
I am a bit confused now. Is that normal that suddenly there are so many Software Components listed. Before I only had 4 or 5. Do I really need all these SC and dependencies?
I have some other Projects in this track where I don't need all this SC. I use tracks as transport tools to transport my developments through the different stages of development. test, consolidation, production etc. So I find all these additional SC a bit annoying when I am working with other projects.
Best Regards
Manuel
This is the new behavior. You only have to check-in and import the SCA's for the SCs that your own development components need to properly build (the ones that you defined as dependencies for your own SC).
