Status in PR not getting updated after RFQ/PO is made

Dear Sir/Madam,

For the past few months, When RFQ/PO is made against a PR, it is not getting updated in ME53n ("Status' tab in item overview). Though its values are maintained in table EKET.

What can be the problem?

Hi,

PR can be closed by system only in case, if you create the PO using ME59N transcation and set the PR closed indicator then only system will update/close the PR. But if you use ME21n then system will not close/update. Hope it is clarified.

Just go and check the Layout of the Report under "Status" Tab, all the fileds might be hidded OR not selected in the layout.
