we have different company codes and different cost area's. Some cost area have one company code, some cost area have more compangy codes included.
We use SAP ECC 6.0.
now we must change the allocation from some company codes. some company codes must allocated to a other cost area.
How can i do that ?
Many thanks for your feedback

Hi Thomas,
I am afrais these issues are quite complicated and should not be carried out if you are not a expert in this area. These kind of changes if not carried out in a proper way can cause lots of inconsistancies in the system. You can read the below information -
Maintain Controlling Area:
'The deciding factor for setting basic data is the organization of cost
accounting, meaning the assignment of company codes to a controlling
area. This decision is irreversable as soon as master data is created.'
(refer to note 107293, where the first paragraph explains that a
subsequent change can only be done with great difficulty, if at all).
'The way company code and controlling area are assigned affects the
currency settings, meaning currency type, currency, and currency
updating, in addition to the controlling area chart of accounts and the
fiscal year variant.'
It's best to contact SAP conversion services who can assist you in these cases.
