F.01 Problem

Dear All,

We have a unique problem in F.01. In case a particular GL account has value in current period but does not have value in corresponding previous period, and if we have checked to display zero balance accounts, the said accounts are displayed twice...

Can anyone please let me know the reason for this?

One of the possible issue can be with your Output Control settings in F.01. Go to the tab Output Control and ensure that you Company Code and Business Area Summarizations are appropriately defined. If you are using Business Areas, then it may print multiple lines if you select the summarization as 1. If you change it to 3, then it will get summarized and appear in 1 row only.

Assign points accordingly.

Hi,

Tried changing the Summarisation at the Business Area level, it does not serve the purpose and moreover we are not using business area.

Need some solution please...

Can you tell me how the output is coming in the report? Just wanted to ensure that it is not an issue with the way the Financial Statement Version is defined, you may want to check that also once.

Hi Madhav,

The display is as follows:

GL account -- Current period -- Prev period -

1000000 -- 100 -- 00

1000000 -- 00 -- 00

This is happening only if,:

1. Zero balance accounts are selected for F.01

2. There are transactions in current period but Nil in corresponding Previous period.

Please help me in identifying what exactly is going wrong.

Not sure if this will resolve your problem, but please try it out.

In the financial statement version that I was using for testing, the hierarchy was something like as below:

Assets

Current Assets

Other Deferred Charges

A/c # 1234567890

In my case, when I have defined Assets, I have indicated that I need to Display Total at the End of the Group and also the Graduated Total (you can double click on Assets to see this indicators). Because of which, the report was appearing similar to the one you have.

If I uncheck both these indicators, then I am getting the report in the same was as in your case. But the display against the GL is still the same i.e. it does not display 2 rows for me.

Check your FSV to ensure it is defined correctly.

Thanks,
