Hi All,

Please clarify the below doubts.

1) We have set of SAP ABAP and JAVA system in our landscape and we are going to connect this systems to IDM. Here, i don't want to change the existing SAP user password when we perform/configure the initial load. To achieve this, what needs to be done before performing the initial load.

2) After initial load, If we create a new user account with initial password in connected SAP system, Users should get change the initial password popup screen during the first login. Do we need any special configuration to achieve this?

3) Even after initial load, If we modify or provisioning existing user account to new SAP system, Do we need to set initial password again for new system or it will use existing active user password?

please do the needful..

Regards,

Vino

Hi there,

Simply disable the password passes or attributes in the passes of the initial load. That should take care of it.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for your information, After enabling "enable password provisioning" option in identity Store Password Policy Tab, now user can able to change the initial password.

Now we have different issue, If any existing user account is locked due to incorrect password login, How we can unlock the user account in particular client using IDM. In IDM /admin UI page, we couldn't find password reset option. In CUA, we can reset/unlock a user account in specific system and specific client. how we can do this in IDM.

Vino

hello,

you need to create a custom form to reset password and link a process task which which triggers the SetABAPUser password plugin task available in the connector package based upon the repository type selected.

or else if you update the mx_encrypted_password attribute, the password reset task will be triggered for all the systems the user is having access to.
