Hi Jinoy,

As per my understanding, It looks from screen shot that you are using POSC and putaway HU WT will be generated only if that HU contains more than one Product WT (Nested HUs or multiple products). Please check the documentation below.

"

Create Putaway WTs or HU Pick-WTs

Creation of warehouse tasks (WTs) for putaway (product WTs or HU WTs) and handling unit pick-warehouse tasks (HU pick-WTs) in the transportation cross-docking process (TCD process) and the merchandise distribution cross-docking.

Use

  • In the goods receipt process, you want to create product WTs and HU WTs for the putway for a certain point in time.
For example, you define deconsolidation as storage process step
1 and also want to create the product WTs and HU WTs for putaway at the point in time when the HU WTs are created for the deconsolidation for the work center.
  • For goods receipt of a TCD process, you want to create HU pick-WTs at a certain point in time.
For example, you define deconsolidation as storage process step
1 and also want to create the HU WTs for the TCD process at the point in time when the HU WTs are created for the deconsolidation for the work center.
  • For goods receipt of a merchandise distribution cross-docking process, you want to create HU pick-WTs at a certain point in time.

Dependencies

You can only create putaway WTs and HU pick-WTs once per storage process, and only in the goods receipt process.

The putaway WTs can be either product or HU WTs. To enable you to deconsolidate nested HUs, you must create the WT in the correct level. This is dependent on the destination storage type. For example, if you want to put away the product into a replenishment storage type, that is, you want to put away the complete HU, the system can create a HU WT.

The system first creates the temporary WTs on the level of the uppermost HU. The system checks whether deconsolidation is required for these HUs.

  • If no deconsolidation is required on the level of the uppermost HU, the system checks whether you have permitted the indicator Mixed Storage in HU in the destination storage type, for the Putaway Control as part of Define Storage Type. It also checks whether you have permitted the HU type in the destination storage type as part of Define HU Types for Each Storage Type.
  • If mixed storage is permitted for the HU in the destination storage type and there is more than one product WT for the HU, and if HUs are allowed in the destination storage type and the putaway of an HU is not forbidden in the destination storage type, the system deletes the product WTs created temporarily. In their place, the system creates an HU WT for the highest-level HU. You execute the putaway using this HU WT.
  • If mixed storage is not permitted for the HU in the destination storage type, the system saves the temporarily created product WTs to the database, in an inactive state. You execute the putaway using these product WTs.
  • If deconsolidation is required on the level of the uppermost HU, the system deletes the temporarily created product WTs. In their place, the system creates new temporary prodcut WTs on the lowest HU level. The system checks each lowest HU to see whether deconsolidation is required.
  • If no deconsolidation is required, the system checks whether you have permitted the indicator Mixed Storage in HU in the destination storage type, for the Putaway Control as part of Define Storage Type. It also checks whether you have permitted the HU type in the destination storage type as part of Define HU Types for Each Storage Type.
    - If mixed storage is permitted for the HU in the destination storage type and there is more than one product WT for the HU, and if HUs are allowed in the destination storage type and the putaway of an HU is not forbidden in the destination storage type, the system deletes the product WTs created temporarily. In their place, the system creates an inactive HU WT for the lowest HU. You execute the deconsolidation and the putaway using this HU WT.
      - If mixed storage is not permitted for the HU in the destination storage, the system saves the temporarily created product WTs to the database in an inactive state. The system also creates an inactive HU WT for the lowest HU. You execute deconsolidation of the lowest HU using the HU WT, and the putaway using the product WTs.
    • If deconsolidation is required on the level of the lowest HU, the system saves the temporarily created product WTs to the database for the lowest HU. You execute the deconsolidation using these product WTs.

You can only set the indicator if the external storage process step refers to an internal storage process step for which you have permitted the creation of putaway WTs or HU pick-WTs.

If the storage process step is skipped when confirming an HU WT, the system does not create putaway WTs or HU pick-WTs either in this step, or the process steps that follow." - Copied the documentation from POSC Prod/HU WT Check box
