heuristics is creating PRs with scheduling agreement

Hello Gurus,

We have an active scheduling agreement item, but nonetheless the heuristics is creating PRs (ATP category AG) instead of schedule lines. So far we cannot find the reason. Please share ur thoughts on this.

Hello Sivaprakash,

Kindly recheck your master data, like what is the type of 'external procurement relationship' in apo. It is 'APO Scheduling Agreement' or 'OLTP SA ' ? . As you must be aware if it is 'OLTP SA' you will have to carry out SA release in R/3.

Also check if you have 'multiple external proc.relationship' in APO .

There may be case where you could be having TWO 'external proc.relationship' , the SA and Pur.Info record. and the SA has least priority . So it must be creating Pur . req.

Also in rrp3 , got to change mode and try to put a 'receipt qty ' for any suitable date. Press enter and the system will pop a screen , which should show the SA you ciffed from ECC to apo

Select the SA and it will create schedule line.

Dear Sivaprakash,

It's better that Heuristic creates Preqs and not Purchase Orders or Schd. Lines. Because it's easier to delete/change Preqs in APO than orders.

Once Preqs are created, use mass transaction code /N/SAPAPO/RRP7 for converting Preqs to Sched lines for selection criteria. This transaction converts Preqs to POs for stock transfers n Preqs to Sched Lines for which Sched. Agreement is maintained.
