hi,

the difference between single value and multiple values in VC is you can put either single value or can assign multiple values to characteristic.

In super BOM and Routine there is an "or" relationship between the values entered for multiple values and BOM or routine can be selected by any of the values maintained in characteristic while configuration, depending upon your selection condition.

If the characteristic is single valued you can assign only one values to it, for multiple values you can assign multiple values.

At the time of Customer requirement creation enter single or multiple values depending upon what type of characteristics you have maintained.

Super Bom and Routing:

1) enter all the components required

2) for each component you have to enter the selection condition or procedure or action by going

Extra-Object dependencies-editor

3) assign the characteristic and save repeat above steps for all the required components.

The procedure is same for the routing here instead of components do the same procedure for operations.

Reward if useful.

Hi,

The main difference between single value and multiple values in VC is you can assign single value or can assign multiple values to characteristic. Create charasteristics with different value.

Create Dependencues to allow the combitaion of feature by using CU01 transaction.

BOM or routine can be selected by any of these values maintained in characteristic while configuration, depending upon your selection condition.

Pls try and come back
