work processes in ended state.

HI Gurus,

I have installed IDES 4.7 on a Win2K machine with Oracle as the OS.

I have created a new client and the client copy is successfully done.

Now i wanted to delete the newly created client , so went into that client......executed txn SCC5 and followed the steps of deletion..

While the deletion was going on -- the system stopped because of power outage.

So now after the power has been restored , when i try to start SAP , all the work processes are going into ENDED state and the

Dispatcher going into stopped state.

So gurus how to resolve the issue, how to bring SAP running again?

Plesae guide me.

Thanks in Advance,

Vikram krishna.

Hi krishna

This occurs because u did not stopped ur system in the normal way. i.e intially the application servers, next the central instance and then the database goes down. Try to start the system from the o/s level,

so u can continue ur work.

Hi Vikram,

You have to installe central instance again and provide same SID. After installation you are able to use SAP.

You do not need to install the complete SAP

Just install the services.

Hope this will help you
