What causes this line to show up in MD04? The material I'm looking at is the first in a chain of materials where they are using a process order for each intermediate in a chain of 9 materials until they get to the final finished item. The first material in the chain has Strategy Group 20 (Make to Order) but then another material further up the chain has strategy group 11 (Make to Stock Gross Requirements Planning) then the last in the chain has strategy group 10 (Make to Stock production). They have since switched to APO so the last item in the chain is now managed in APO but they've not removed any of the old strategy group data from the material master. I've looked and looked but can't figure out why this "Preplanning -------> line" appears in MD04. it seems to refer to some old requirements plan but I can't find anything. All I want is to get rid of this line. Any ideas on where to look?
