Hi,
I have a AS-ABAP + JAVA System.
I want to upgrade only the java support package to 14.
Please let me know whetehr this will restart the ABAP Stack also or not

No.. you can restart the java instance independently after applying patches via JSPM

Some time it may happen but the jspm will take care of all the things.You need not to restart the jspm will start and stop the java if necessary abap instances.
