Hi All,
I would like to be able to produce a SAP Landscape diagram based on the SLD (system landscape directory) and if possible would like to use Visio.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Bryn
What exactly does "using from Crayola to Visio" ?
Is this a product beyound the obvious kids drawing tool ?

If interested I have an example of a Visio diagram I have been working on (NOT PERFECT in any sense of the word).
In HTML and XML which you use Internet Explorer (active controls don't work in Firefox for some reason, not yet) which makes the output from Visio useful.
I have and example I can share BUT I do not know how to share as I do not have a public facing site to drop a file for review.
I am apparently not allowed to upload or give my em-ail address ?
I will share whatever results we can find as I think this could be a great tool to help with administration for BASIS.

I am work with Bryn on this initiative.
We have a need to generate "SAP Landscape Diagrams" using Visio to graphicaly display the associates between applications and hardware.
At issue is the manual static data in the Visio diagram NOT kept up to date.
Take the example of two large companies who have never updated their respective diagrams to truely reflect their existing landscape. Having the ability to dynamically generate initial diagrams based on the SLD database would be very beneficial.
Keeping such a document living and breathing would be optimal.
Once I get a grasp on Visio's XML and database capabilites I can build diagrams taking note of delta changes and other things.
Also a very cool feature of Visio is to Save the diagram to HTML (and xml data) which you can then share and then using exclusively Internet Explorer (Active X controls required) can turn this diagram into a kinda of lauching tool as you can put HTTP and URL links into the document ...
Hope this clarifies the grand scope of what we are looking to do ?
