use of container element to trigger mail

hi ,

basing on some conditions i have filled one container element of workflow where it holds the username .

how i can use this specific container element to trigger mail to that person ?

please giv me answer .

its urgent .

there's a send mail type step you can use in the workflow builder.

hi anwar,

here i have one scenario ..

i have to calculate the user basing on some conditions .

i did it in the task and used the expression and has given the container element for the expression.

its not triggering mail.

do i need to create a rule where i have to write the logic for deciding user and giv it in the workflow?

please suggest me..

Hi Raghu,

If you are using a task for checking the condition and fetching the user name to whom you have to send mail , Kindly set that task as background task and if you want to go for a rule , then there si no need to usr the task as rule also do the same thing.
