IT0025, Appraisals Decimal Points

I am attempting to configure/use infotype 0025, Appraisals, for our client. However, the values that we need to put in the column "Points" are values with a decimal point. Upon entering the value, I get a red error message saying

Decimal Places are not permitted.

Is there any easy way to change this or to allow decimal points without customization to Infotype 0025?
