How to Retrieve Abap Object

hi Everyone,

My ABAPer having a Problem in development Server. He says, he has lost his ABAP Object from the Development Server. The Same Object has alredy been sent to Production server.But it is not there in DEV. how can i help him as a basis Admin to retrieve it from the Production Server

If you have the transport request with which you have moved that object to prod then re import that into dev

Hi Everyone,

yes i have that Transport request with Objects.In the DEV server itself i can import it right? Can u tell me how to Import it to the Server? as i told u , it has been released already.

You are a Basis Admin and you don't know how to import a transport request !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know how 2 imort a Transport request. my question is that to Import a Request's Obj which has already released from DEV to PRD & Imported in PRD.

OBJ available only in the Change request in DEV. i asked to Import in DEV only.

clear??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...........

Hi

Check for datafile and cofile in /usr/sap/trans/data nad /trans/cofiles folder for the request containing objects. If they are there, goto STMS, then in import queue goto extras --> Add another request, enter the request number and import it.
