where can i find the BP, if i have the Trasport Request ID

Hello Gurus'

My question is , i want to search a Business partner in sap crm , but i dont have the BP ID, i have only the Trasport Request ID.

With the help of Trasport Request ID, where and how can i find the business partner....in sap crm 4.0

Hi

You cannot search the BP through ur transport req id

In BP search u can search the bp with bp id, name, tel no. etc

use bp tcode and u can see the search options search according to that

hi there

from the transport id you can get back to the place where you have made particular changes involving the particular BP

it wont give you Bp but can give you useful info by which you can track the BP

inside your transport id or request just go inside the list of objects and as you click there it will take you to the path where you can get essential info rearding the BP involved

else you can use BP search criterias you have to search your BP

by the way why there is a need to search the BP from transport id

because there are number of criterias for serach already involved

Hi,

You cannot search the Business Partner number with your Transport request ID.In, order to search a business partner (BP) in the transaction code type "/bp".

This will open a new screen and will provide you the wide options to search business partner.

Note:- If you are using CRM 5.0 then you will see 9 different search options in "/nbp".On the contrary, If you are using CRM 5.2 or CRM 6.0 then you can see 8 options to search a business partner number.The only option which is missing is "Search by Date of Birth".
