Hi Experts,

I am facing a problem when i add a product in sales order then it shows me that product is not configured .

Please tell me what shud i do .I click on the configured check box at the start when create the product .

Hi

Check the Set the Configurable indicator check box so that the product will become Configurable Product at the time of product or u can change the product and Set the Configurable indicator.

Hi Khurram,

If the Configurable indicator is set, the product can be configured when an order is created.

Hi ,

When i create a product type material i click on configuration check box and when i used this product in my sales order then it shows me the error

"1)Product is not registered.

2)configuration for product is missing.

3)No knowledge base is found."

Hi

If you cannot find it, means you have not configure

the item category match to your product Item Category

Group.

What you need to check is, go to your product master

and check on Item Category Group. Same Item Category

Group must be assigned in Item Category on Item Category

Determintion

In CRM, we cannot just put any Item Category manually

without maintain the determination.

As I mentioned in previous message, it has to be defined

in Item Category Determination.

Here is how to configure the determination :

(assume you have maintained Transaction Type, Item

category and item category group completely).

1. Go to SPRO -> CRM -> Transactions -> Basic Settings

-> Item Category Determination

2. Then maintain at least , the transaction type +

item category group + item category

item category group must use the same with one which

is used by Product

Hi Manaohar,

Thanx for reply but i maintained the item category determienation and when i create an oppourtunity and add this product then it automatically fatch the item category but it shows the error that product is not configuered and product is not registrable and no knowledge base found.

R u using R3 products or CRM products (created in CRM)

if u r creating in CRM

In your CRM System, you can maintain master data for configurable products for use in your CRM System. You do this with the help of the integrated Product Modeling Environment (PME).

You cannot use configurable products created with PME in CRM for processes in R/3 Systems.

Integration

Master data that was created with PME is automatically written to your CRM database and is available there for product configuration in all CRMconfiguration scenarios.

Prerequisites

You have installed PME locally or can access it via a network installation.

Hi Khurram.

If you donu2019t intend the product to be u201CConfigurableu201D, then donu2019t tick that CHECKBOX u201CConfigurableu201D when you create a product.

This should solve your problem.
