Dear Freinds,
Can we do the MIRO with reference to shipment document or shipment cost documents?
Actually i need to create the MIRO(Invoice verification of shipment cost document)
With regards
Lakshmikanth
Lakshmikanth,
Yes, you can do MIRO for the shipment document. Ideally, this is the case in India in case of Imports. When the import consignment reached your gate, it is accompanied only with the Bill of Lading or Airway Bill and the Bill of Entry at India Customs Port. These two documents give you the figures for shipment cost and the import duties involved during the transaction. This is required because you can take credit of the CVD only on the basis of the Bil of Entry. Hence MIRO has to be done for the BoE.
For this purpose, you need to de-select the GR-based-IV checkbox in your import PO.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Keshav

I think when u check the Tax calculate tax in MIRO, the system will go to the PO item and will check for the Tax code and other taxes if any in the item details and calculates the tax.
In automatic delivery cost settlement, it is arranged with the creditor that the latter will not invoice you for delivery costs relating to an ordering transaction. Instead, the delivery costs will be settled automatically on the basis of the data from freight vendors, PO items, or bills of lading.
Reward if helpful..
Thanks,
Srib
