PO price

Hi,

I am trying to create purchase order, in PO i am getting price condition type PBXX for one vendor

for another vendor PB00.

what is the different between these 2 condition types.

How to get prices automatically in PO?

please explain briefly about PO pricing in MM with small examples.

Hi

If u have maintained Info record/Contract or SA for that vendor and material combination then system wil show PB00 as condition

If no Info record/Contract or SA maintained for that vendor and material combination then system wil show PBXX as condition

PB00 -is determined via access sequence from info record or contract or SA or RFQ etc.

PBXX - In this condition type no access sequence is defined and u can enter manual price

PB00 is used when a price can be determined automaticly. However PBXX is used when a price is entered manually in a purchase order. Both these should have an exclusive lock in the pricing schema so only one is ever used in a PO.
