Report painter: Carry Forward (KSLVT not available)

Hi,

I am building a report based on table GLPCT (using report painter), in a column I need to have the carry forward and the records of the current year . Aim is to have, for a group of accounts, the total from the begining in SAP to today: Carry forward (KSLVT from previous year) + Janvier (KLS01) to KSL03 or KSL05 (depending of parameters filled in selection screen).

I don't know how to select or add the carry forward (field KSLVT).

Hi:

Check the library which are using to create the report painter.

Check the table using t.code GR22, if carry forward is in the table, select the checkbox beside carry forward. it will appear in characteristic list in report painter.

thanks for your answer. For Library 8A2 in GR22, there is no dedicated fiedl for carry forward (KSLVT) in key figures, but there is:

- KSL-GES_JAHR (Total year)

- STOCK_ACT (Closing bal. in PrCtr-Currency)

- IST_KONZW_KUM (Cumulated actual)

I think that could help me. I will check and keep you update.

An other think is we did a profit center reorganisation (hierarchy modification), in March, and we did delete entries in GLPCA (but we did not do anything within GLPCT, tha's were balances are stored).

And it seems transaction 2KES has not been re-run after the reoarganisation, I have those points to check also.

Hi,

Just to complete & closed this tread, I received answer from OSS:

in order to fill KSLVT, I have to relaunch 2KES (PCA carry forward).

Then re-open period one after another and relaunch 1KE* (1KEI, 1KEK are the ones we are using) for each month until now (January to May).

As we already launched these month end closing transaction so we asked if there are any consequences, answer is 1KE* transactions fill GLPCA table but if we relaunch the transaction all figures will be deleted and replaced by the news one (there is no risk of double recording).

I cant find the key figures for this column.

I differ from the other forummer, have u tried to use period = 0 as the KSLVT(carry forward) value . Then set another period variable as the cutoff parameters tied to the selection parameters.
