Hi,
Is there a way to completly disable a transaction ( make it non-editable) In CRM 2007 system ,by changing the status (With transaction crmbs02) of the activity?
Is this possible by changing the parameters in CRMBS02 ?
thanks,
Kavitha.
Hi Kavitha,
To make a transaction non-editable for a particular status, follow the steps below.
1. In transaction CRMBS02 , open the status profile.
2. Double click on the status, for which u wish to make a transaction non-editable.
3. In the next screen, choose button create, and look for Business transaction 'Change Documents' and mark it as forbidden. and Save
This setting will not let the user make any changes after this status has been set. The Message displayed will be "No changed Possible".
WIsh this helps.

Hi Kavitha,
In CRMBS02, go into your status profile for the activity. Within the status profile, go into the individual status code. If you double click on the status code, it opens up an area known as "transaction control".
Here click on "New entries" button on the top and choose the transaction "Edit" and set it to Forbidden. As a result of this whenever you choose the particular status code in your status profile, the document would be rendered forbidden to any change.
Please reward points if this info helps.
