how to identify bom ?

hello experts,

i have a requirement where i have to identify BOM using these two fields

1) MKAL-STLAL

2) MKAL-STLAN

.

I have no idea about how to identify BOM using these fields.

please, give me the correct solution.

U will get the details in the table

MAST

STPO

STKO

go to mast

put header material plant

u will get bom number BOM say 00000016

that this BOM

and go to STPO and STKO u will get the component detals in STKo and Header details in STPO

Hi ,

table MKAL gives the Production Versions of Material.

.If you go to tcode CS03 to see the BOM then you need the value of some fields material no.,Alternative BOM,BOM Usage.

and the value of these fields you can check from table MKAL i.e. MKAL-STLAL(Alternative BOM) and MKAL-STLAN (BOM Usage ) and also MKAL-MATNR (Material Number).

From the table MKAL fetch material no. and plant and STLAL and STLAN.For these go to table MAST .Here you can get all details.If you want to know itemized details go to table STPO.Fetch the records from STPO by comparing MAST-STLNR.For header level data refer table STKO
