quantity contract issue

Hi,

Suppose i created a quantity contract of 100 quantity now when i creating an order with reference to that contract with quantity 200 no message is coming that ur quantity exceeds.

In item category of contract i use C in completion rule field.And in copy control i use 2 in update document flow and + sign in postive/negative quantity field.

Any thing else i need to do.

    The message 06 042 Target value of contract & exceeded by & & should be issued.

    This message attributes can be customized as error, warning or not to be shown.

    Check your settings in IMG > MM > purchasing > environment data > Define Attributes of System Messages

    Please set the message as error in SPRO->MM -> Purchasing-> Environment data-> Define Attributes of System Messages

    06 -078-Target quantity exceeded by & &

    if it is quantity contract

    06-042-Target value of contract & exceeded by & &

    if it is value contract
