Hi Saurabh,
it Denotes the Partner Function of the Receiver
the Domain For EDIDC-RCVPFC is EDI_PARVW
For domain PARVW the value table is TPAR.
TPAR contains Business Partner: Functions
Best regards,

Hi Saurabh,
The partner function is something which needs to be decided by your business people at the time of designing the architecture. They will tell you when they want an IDOC...is it for a Ship-to-party or Bill-to-party, etc.... Otherwise..you can select one depending on your scenario..
You need to specify this partner function for your output type while proposing an output.... this configuration is done is NACE...

If there is no special requirement no need to populate this.
as for the field:
General
Describes the function that the receiver has for the sender.
Applications
Outbound IDocs:
The data is passed to the selection module in the PARTOUT (partner profile) parameter.
Inbound IDocs:
No action required.
IDoc interface
No action required.
EDI subsystem
Outbound IDocs:
The partner function is also part of the partner profiles in the EDI subsystem.
Inbound IDocs:
The EDI subsystem can fill the RCVPFC field. The information on the receiver ID in the interchange file is used for this purpose. This information includes the address of the receiver and the routing address.
