goods movement from PI sheet

Dear Gurus,

I am entering and saving the actual consumed quantity of components in the PI sheet but the stock is not reducing (In MMBE, same stock in unrestricted use before and after goods issue). Why?

Hi,

In PI sheet system will chekc the qty. which you are charging / but not posting. posting will done through conformations.

if we cannot do goods posting in PI sheet, then why process operator enter the data regading material consumption qty, confirmed qty etc. in PI sheet.

Please explain.

Hi

of course the postings can be done with the PI sheet!

You need to make sure that:

- A process instruction is present in the PI sheet that creates process messages of the category PI_CONS

- The PI_CONS process messages are posted w/o error (please check TA CO54)

Can any one please send the useful document on PI sheet.

Especially with master recipe details that contain process instructions necessary to make it possiblel for goods issue, confirmations and goods receipt from the PI sheet.

Hi All,

My problem was solved by using the TCode CO54. Initially I am not using CO54. I think once we maintain PI sheet and report data it is sufficient. But I realised that we have to go to CO54 to send the messages after reporting data in PI sheet.

Hi,

This is the problem that Material Issue is only posted after process massage PI_CONS is sent though CO54.And in between someone has used that material or Batch via another transaction then you might get error during sending of that massage.So be careful during goods issue through PI sheet, and send the massage immediately after Pi Sheet completion.

This is the reason that many company's doesn't prefer goods issue through PI Sheet.

I am using the following INSTRUCTION for Material list in PI sheet.

ZMATINF - 10 PPPI_MATERIAL

20 PPPI_RESERVATION_ITEM

30 PPPI_MATERIAL_SHORT_TEXT

40 PPPI_BATCH

50 PPPI_MATERIAL_QUANTITY

55 PPPI_MATERIAL_CONSUMED

60 PPPI_UNIT_OF_MEASURE

70 PPPI_STORAGE_LOCATION

With this i am getting material component list with batches after doing the batch determination in the process order which is nothing but a BOM list.

But normally my actual goods dispensing will differ from the BOM components.

I want the system to display this list (The actual list after doing GI i,e MB1A).

How can we do Auto GI/GR through PI sheet?

Kindly explain.

Yes It is possible to do goods issue through PI sheet.

PI sheet is not meant for Inventory posting.

You can post quantity through standard screen by specifing 'Confirm Yield'
