I am trying to create a text variable in BW/4HANA.
I am using the Badi RSROA_VARIABLES_EXIT_BADI using the steps described in here:
https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/BI/RSROA_VARIABLES_EXIT_BADI%3A+Example
For text variables I need to use InfoObject 1TEXT (as explained in the comments in the blog).
I am okay with the coding for my exit routine, but have a problem with defining the actual variable.
In BW/4HANA, I can only create a variable in the BW repository by right-clicking on an InfoObject.
The InfoObject 1TEXT is missing in my list of characteristics.
I tried to import it from business content, but I cannot find it there either.
My question: How can I define the text variable for which I want to write a customer exit?
