Client is not running mrp. But they want to create the planned order manually and from that they are planning to create production order.

Is their a way to create planned order manually with out MRP run.

I question why they want to create planned orders without MRP and not creating production orders right away, but that's their choice.

If you have to create many planned orders manually and if you use REM or discrete PP (not sure if it works with PI) then you can use the REM planning table, MF50, to create planned orders manually fast, by either typing just the quantity in the field of the respective date or use the distribution functionality in there

Yes you can create planned orders manually and then use them to convert to Prod orders

HI,

It is better to plant through MRP for better control of planning / if your client want to create manually it heavy work for enduser if they are haveing few products it's OK but not suggestable .if they are having more product how it is possible the create planned order manually.

Ok you can create Planned order through MD11.

You can create directly planned order by using MD11.

MRP is basically for planning of known requirements.If there is known requirement, ask your client to go MRP. It will increase the control of planning and decrease the inventory of the client.
