Changing update rule in cube 0pe_c01

Dear all,

i have problem after adding kf to a cube and try to update update rule with constant 1, or a formula.

after writing formula for kf , it shows red light in update rule, and gives error message after trying to activate.

"error activating update rule.."

any help?

deleted and created update rule again and it works.

Hi,

If you don't have the field present in InfoSource (in Comm Structure), you cannot add it in Update Rule though it is present in the data target (Cube).

So first add the required field in CS of InfoSource and then try to activate the Update Rule.

It will solve the issue.

Hi,

Once deactivate the update rules and try to activate the update rules again and also chek whether the cube is in active status are not.

Check out the other mappings of chars ..this happens if some fields have source as " Routine " and no routine exist which actually should be Initial or....

make sure the the cube is activated properly. Maintain the update rules, with either a formula or a constant. Try and activate again.
