production order without planned order and Routing

Hello,

Is it possible to create production order without planned order(from MRP) and without Routing. Can anybody give the sequence of transactions.

Hi vps

You cannot create prod order directly through MRP run.

MRP run will create either PR OR Plan order first then only prod order / purchase order can be created by conversion.

If you want to create prod order without plan order. Create it manually through CO 01

Creation of prod order without Routing is possible. But you should have default operation.

At the time of creating prod order. The system will display no task list selected. Either cancel or select operation. You should select default operation.

You can create production order without planned order using CO01, CO07 and CO08.

You can create production order without routing by doing setting in OPL8.

In standard SAP here are the Tcode to create Prod Ord without MRP rus.

CO01- with material

CO07-without material

CO08-for sales order

CO10- for project(For PS)

yes you can do production order without MRP run..with help of T code Co01

co08 and co10 according to ur company business ,when u will save the production order automatically it takes activity type 10 for the scheduling..and u have to put all components manually which u have used in BOM..

create a Production order if you create a sales order.

Even without routing you can create a Production order

but for this you need to define default operation for your

order type.

Hi,

You can directly (manually) a production order without reference to a Planned Order (from MRP) and also without a routing in CO01 , provided you do the following settings.

1. In OPL8 -Planning tab page -Routing tab ( for the order type you are going to use in CO01)

set the Routing selection to 0 - No routings or reference operation sets to be used.

2. In OPJG , do the settings for the same order type. ( for default values generation of operations )

Now you can create a prod order in CO01

You can drectly create a production order by using

CO01( with material)

CO07( with out material)

CO08( for sales order)

But with out routing Not possible, either you need any of these two task list to create a production order.

2. Reference operation set

Hi

You can create Prod order with Planned order or MRP the 2 functionalities are only needed when you are using them. Just go to Co01 enter material plant and order type and proceed with the creation.
