Material master description

Dear all,

I'm being faced with an issue. In a scenario where 2 different company codes share same materials, and although both use the same system login language, each need to see different material descriptions for the same material ID. How can we setup this requirement?

Hi,

You need to use business system group while creating materials. But this was a initial setup activity, don't think will work on productive system.

- Assign ERP logical systems to different business groups, which will update material master data./SAPAPO/MATMAP table.

- CIF materials from different systems, they will be created with same ERP material number but with different MATID's(EWM uses MATID).

- Different MATID means different MAKTX.
