Descripancy in COA!!!!

Hi all,

I have assigned inspection plan to a lot (Key Date = 27.04.2008)

Then done the result recording and done UD (Key Date = 10.05.2008)

Now took the print out of COA(form both QC21 and customized report ZAMORA)) but its found that there is some re-arrangement required in the sequence of MICs under operation, so changed the sequence of MICs (MIC1 changed 0010 to 0020 and MIC2 changed from 0020 to 0010) in the inspection plan form that particular operation.

Now in the print out of COA it should give the sequence of MIC as per rectification plan, means

MIC2

MIC1

hence we have changed it in the inspection.

But is appearing in the COA as per it was attached to the lot. MIC1 then MIC2.

I have doubt that it is considering the data for COA printing as per the Key date at which the plant was assigned to the Lot. And fetching the data accordingly.

Pls provide your valuable inputs. That will be really very very helpfull to me.

Regards,

Shyamal

Hi,

You do not need to change the inspection characteristic sequence in inspection plan to change the sequence in certficate as certificate output is controlled by certificate profile . You need to change the MIC sequence in certificate profile using transaction QC02.

Dear Sanjay,

Yes you are absolutely correct. System picks the sequence from the COA profile itself. But hence I'ave changed the sequence in hte insepction plan due to some changes in the test specification change, the sequence of MIC is changed in the inspection plan.

And now I am facing the discrapncy as i have written above.
