enabling services for object

Hi,

Does any one knows how to enable the option "Services for object" in sales order.

Va01/va02/Va03 > goto option SYSTEM in the overview screen- then select "Services for object" .

OR

My requirement is to attach documents, E-mails , correspondence in sales order for the reference of the users if required.

Dear Praveen

SAP itself have deactivated due to performance reasons. But you can achieve by setting user profile in SU3 - Parameters where maintain SD_SWU_ACTIVE = X

It is working for me and It should work for you too. I dont know why it is not working for you.

For information, after including the details in SU3, if you are already in sale order, you cannot attach for that. Exit the sale order and once again go via VA02. Click on Service for Object so that a small box on left corner will appear. You can attach documents now.

I did this in SU3 bur it is still not working?

Can you please tell me what is the use of service for object?....why did SAP stopped it....

Can we attach notes in it & view incomming IDOC details once the Sales order is created with an IDOC.

Also send me if you have any link where i can get some more information on this topic.

Yes thank you, Its working for VA02 & VA03

How do i activate this feature in the scheduling documents if i wish to do the same?

Can i also view the incomming IDOC (if the sales order is created using an IDOC) using this option?

In T-Code SU3, add paramter

SD_SWU_ACTIVE with a value of X

Now you should see the Services for Object icon in VA02 and VA03
