MSS homepage falsely says inbox has mail

Hi,

The homepage of MSS says that there is mail whereas when go into inbox there is none. This is apparently to do with the landing page not refreshing fast enough. In transaction ZWF_ADMIN there are no items.. and this suggests that there is old data being read from somewhere. It is possible to carry out a refresh which takkes up to 30 seconds but ideally I need to find which cache if any to look at in order to make sure the data is as current as possible.

Thanks in advance for any assistance on this one .. my knowledge of the portal is very low...

Hi,

I think you need to schedule a back ground job in the backend for this.

Try sending dummy items.

Hi Gopal,

I'm really not sure what background job to schedule in this instance that would solve this issue. That is one reason I was looking into the Cache types for the portal..

Any ides?
