RFC Connection

Hi folks.

We have one RFC connection, when I am doing the test connection it's ok. but when I'm trying remote logon...no respose..(Nothing happening and no errors)

Its working fine for other system...how to proceed...?

Hi,

user specify in RFC for logon is not dialog type user.

run tcode SM59 open RFC connection and under logon & security TAB check which user is assigned and check the type of user in SU01

for remote logon dialog user is required.

I added Dialog user in logon security, now its working for one system but from other system same prob.

Here it goes...

I have dev qty and prd ok.

dev to prd its working fine. (after changed logon user to dialog)..

but from qty to prd prob. is there?

Hi,

if you are facing RFC remote logon problem from QAS to PRD then you need to change logon user type in QAS System

check RFC in QAS as my previous reply.

There is no logon user is specified. It should pop up the window for logon after clicking on Remote logon.

But nothing happening when you click on remote logon.

Hi,

popup is comming due to no user is specified.

specify user in RFC connection for remote logon.

without specifing user you get logon screen fro PRD system .

check user specified in QAS system RFC is dialog type user and you are giving correct password for logon.

HI,

when you click on remote connection what exactly you get?.

check the specified user in RFC is not locked in target system.
