Hi,

If you define a storage bin (fixed bin) on the WM view of your material master is one thing. It's a quite another thing whether you have stock from that material in your WH in that certain storage bin.

Even though you define a fixed bin in the storage type section on WM view of material master you can move the goods in other storage bin as well within your WH. That field in material master say that you use that storage bin for stock removal.

Hi,

After having done the booking in MB1C please check where your goods are in IM (via MB52) and in WM (via LX02).

If there's no harmony between IM and WM (I mean you ca find your goods in IM but you can't find your them in WM) you received your materials into a SLoc that is not connected with your WH. Please check whether the SLoc you are using in MB1C-booking is assigned to your WH.

If you can find your goods both in IM (SLoc, in MB52) and in WM (WH, in LX02) and the goods are not in the fixed bin (where you want to store them), you have to move them via transaction LT01 / LT10 from the bin they are to the fixed bin where you want to store them.

Generally, when you receive the goods via IM transaction they get to an interim bin and transfer requirements are generated. Processing those TRs (starting from e.g. LB10) you create TOs and by those TOs you can move your goods to the (normal) bins of your WH.

As for configuration please check the first thread of MM forum and you will find it.

Hi,

In MB1C it's very difficult to find a storage bin since MB1C is IM transaction and your storage bin exists in WM.

First execute transaction MB1C. In MB1C you have to give only the SLoc. After that comes the WM part of the process.

After executing MB1C run tr. LB10 and process the relevant TR.
