Hi,
I am required to change the text that appears in the notification an approver sees when a Leave Request is generated. In the workflow in SWDD I found the task but not all the text is there. There is additional text that appears above this in the notification but I can't find where it comes from. Could there be a user-exit that adds some extra text into the notification ?
Text in the task:
&NAME& has submitted a leave request &ABSENCETYPEDESCRIPTION& from
&ABSENCEFROM& through &ABSENCETO&.
Text that appears in the notification:
Work item in R/3 System:PRD
You have a new workflow item that requires action.
Please lo on to the system to authorise the document or to complete the workflow

Hi Richard,
Work item in R/3 System:PRD
You have a new workflow item that requires action.
Please lo on to the system to authorise the document or to complete the workflow
The above text is written in the program which you are using to send the workitem or is in the description of the task .
Other than this :
&NAME& has submitted a leave request &ABSENCETYPEDESCRIPTION& from
&ABSENCEFROM& through &ABSENCETO&.
For above , check the binding of workflow .

Hi,
The text
"Work item in R/3 System:PRD
You have a new workflow item that requires action.
Please log on to the system to authorise the document or to complete the workflow"
Is not found anywhere in the task.
Can you explain what you mean by the text is written in the program you are using to send the workitem ?
Is it to do with the Object method specified in the task or the program that started the workflow. This is a Leave Request so would it be in program SAPMWS20000081H ?
