how to activate a BW data source

Hi Venu,

Please go to the RSA5 and select the data source and there is an pushbutton on tab strip 'Activate Data source" click on that .

I think it will help you.

Hi

Apart from all the people's suggestions iam adding one more important thing is, it is mandatory to Activate CSA Queues in CRM Proper Activation of Bridge through Csa queues is possible other wise data flow to BW and from BW won't occur

Please check this.

Hi Venugopalrao,

All the datasources are available in transaction RSA5 Here you need to find and select the data sources from the list and Press Activate DataSource Pushbutton (8th button from left in the toolbar above) ,

Hi Venu,

Please refer the following navigation path:

SPRO->IMG->Integration with Other mySAP Components->Data Transfer to the SAP Business Information Warehouse->Settings for Application-Specific DataSources (CRM)->Settings for BW Adapter->Activate BW Adapter Metadata.
