Change V1 & V2 validators name in PR work flow

I use SAP Logon 730 - GSI - PC1 400 system for raising Purchase Requisitions.

My question is:

I raise a PR in system and assign it to V0, V1 & V2 approvers

V0 approves the PR in system

V1 approver is on leave. But the PR is in V1 approver's workflow and has not provided delegation to approve the PR on his/ her behalf.

In this situation, how to change the V1 validator to somebody else who is in the same position

Hi Shamala,

It is generally considered a 'best practice' to ensure that all specific agents have substitutes set up for just this reason. If that is not an option, the workflow administrator could forward the approval task to the desired agent.

But really, have your approvers set up substitutes - if we were talking about some other type of process, your business people would have someone assigned to take over their work if they were not available.
