Authorization Objects/Roles used to give Debug Access in BSP...

Hi All,

How to give Debug Access to the User ID in SAP. what is the authorization object used for that. what are the Roles used for providing the DEBUG access for an SAP user id. Please let me know, if anyone knows it.

Hi,

To get the debugging access, abab developers role has to be assigned to your user id. Ask your basis consultant to do it.

Hi Ruby,

I know that basis will give debug authorization. Here in my office, they have merged different Roles together into one Role. But I wanted to know, what is the role/authorization only for Debugging.

I am trying to update the APO Planning books data through a BSP application. For some user id's, it is updated the Planning Books and for some it is not. In the ST01 transaction, I saw it is giving error authorization missing for some Planning Books. I am using a standard BAPI to do the Planning Book update.

Check S_DEVELOP authorization object...am not sure about the role name
