We have centralized MII servers that support plants across the United States. We need the ability for MII to send print jobs to remote print servers so we do not have to maintain printers on multiple servers. We have also had issues where ADS crashed MII due to printer related issues on the server. We currently have over 160 printers on the MII servers and this will continue to grow. We are also starting to implement ADS printing using our SAP ECC system and would like both systems to use the same print servers. Is there any plan to implement printing to remote print servers using ADS from MII? I don't understand why printers need to be hosted locally on the MII server for the action block to work.
